We are seeking an efficient and meticulous Order Picker to join our logistics team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are critical to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the efficiency of our operations. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, highly organized, and possess a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. This position involves significant movement throughout the warehouse, including standing, walking, and frequent lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Utilize handheld scanners for inventory tracking.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked items for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring frequent lifting up to 45 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory systems.
- Strong commitment to safety and proper PPE usage.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
