We are looking for a dynamic Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is essential for the efficient operation of our distribution center, involving a variety of tasks related to order fulfillment and inventory management. You will be involved in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, as well as receiving and stocking incoming goods. A strong commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and safety is crucial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
- Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and checks.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Keep the distribution center clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned to support logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to work flexible hours if needed.
- Commitment to safety and proper PPE usage is required.
