Seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator for our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is integral to our warehouse operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to transport, stack, and retrieve materials, playing a key part in our logistics chain. We prioritize a culture of Safety and expect all operators to adhere to stringent protocols and demonstrate proficiency in equipment handling. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move pallets, products, and materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately, ensuring product integrity.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including traffic rules within the warehouse.
- Follow strict guidelines for the correct use and maintenance of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent hazards.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Comply with all regulations regarding Lifting and safe material handling.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Proven ability to operate various types of forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Commitment to adhering to all Safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
