Join our growing logistics operation as a Forklift Operator in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals to manage the movement of materials within our busy warehouse. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and assist with order fulfillment. Your dedication to Safety and efficiency will be critical to our operations. This role requires proficiency in operating forklifts safely and effectively, along with a strong understanding of warehouse procedures. You will be expected to maintain equipment, conduct pre-operational checks, and follow all company Safety guidelines. This position involves consistent operation of heavy machinery and requires adherence to strict PPE requirements, including safety vests and hard hats when necessary. Significant physical demands are involved, including frequent Lifting of materials up to 60 pounds, as well as prolonged periods of standing and sitting. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers.
- Move and stack inventory within the warehouse.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes.
- Conduct daily inspections and basic maintenance of forklift equipment.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience operating forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification (preferred).
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual.
