In this role, you'll be the backbone of our inventory management, ensuring materials are moved, organized, and stored efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and preparing materials for production or shipment. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong commitment to safety and a good understanding of warehouse best practices. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of our supply chain and overall logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred, training available).
- Transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated locations.
- Prepare materials for shipment or further processing.
- Perform regular equipment checks and maintain a clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Responsible for some manual Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks involving frequent movement and Lifting.
