Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely into appropriate shipping containers, using correct materials.
- Apply shipping labels and verify order accuracy before dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock rotation as directed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment quotas.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Prior experience in a Picker/Packer role or warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 pounds) and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
