Seeking an Order Picker to join our Austin, Texas warehouse! As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our distribution and Logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. If you are physically capable, detail-oriented, and thrive in a dynamic warehouse setting, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to picking lists or digital orders.
- Verify product information and quantities against order requirements.
- Use equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and scanners to assist in picking.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing and shipping.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment, adhering to all Safety standards.
- Ensure proper handling of all merchandise to prevent damage.
- Wear all mandated PPE , including safety footwear and protective gear.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock put-away.
- Support the overall efficiency of the Logistics supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is preferred but not required for motivated individuals.
- Ability to perform demanding physical tasks, including significant walking, bending, and Lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of warehouse Safety protocols and the importance of PPE .
- Familiarity with warehouse Logistics and inventory systems is a plus.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
