You will be responsible for a wide range of warehouse duties, including receiving and inspecting goods, storing inventory, picking and packing orders with precision, and preparing shipments for delivery. Your role directly contributes to the efficiency and success of our distribution center. We are committed to maintaining a safe work environment, and all team members must adhere to safety regulations and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting items up to 45 lbs. Comprehensive training will be provided on all job functions, including equipment operation and safe lifting practices. Responsibilities:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Stock merchandise in designated storage areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic logistics environment.
- Must be able to stand and move throughout the shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
