This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 40 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a scanner.
- Inspect picked items for damage or discrepancies.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean workstation.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety guidelines and procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Follow instructions precisely to ensure order accuracy.
- Wear and utilize required PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Familiarity with scanning equipment is advantageous.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE.
- Team player mentality and good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
