Seeking a meticulous Receiving Clerk for our facility in Fort Worth, Texas. In this critical role, you will be the first point of contact for all incoming shipments. Your primary responsibility will be to accurately receive, inspect, and document all goods entering the warehouse. This involves verifying shipment contents against purchase orders, identifying discrepancies or damages, and ensuring that all incoming materials are properly logged into our inventory system. A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills are essential for success. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are expected to follow strict safety protocols and utilize provided PPE. This position is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that our inventory is accurate and readily available. The ideal candidate will be reliable, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience with warehouse receiving processes. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods and occasional lifting. Your attention to detail will directly impact inventory accuracy and the efficiency of our supply chain. We offer a stable work environment and opportunities for growth within our logistics department. Duties include: unloading incoming freight, verifying items against packing slips and purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage or defects, accurately entering received items into the inventory management system, reporting discrepancies or issues to management, organizing and staging received goods for put-away, maintaining a clean and organized receiving area, and adhering to all safety regulations and PPE guidelines.
