We are looking for dependable and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our bustling logistics center in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be an essential part of our supply chain, contributing to the efficient handling, movement, and storage of goods. Your responsibilities will span various warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
- Accurately stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specifications.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification may be required for specific roles).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock adjustments.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
- Must be comfortable with frequent lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we provide training.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety best practices.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles is a plus.
