In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets, accurately packing items into appropriate shipping containers, and preparing them for shipment. You'll work with various picking technologies, such as RF scanners, to ensure precision. Attention to detail is paramount to avoid errors and ensure customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all employees are required to follow strict Safety guidelines and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves a significant amount of manual work, including frequent Lifting of boxes and items, which can weigh up to 50 lbs. You will be expected to maintain a productive pace while upholding quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Label packages correctly and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring regular Lifting of packages.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including frequent Lifting.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
