Senior Accountant

My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their global team based in Cork. This role goes far beyond traditional accounting tasks; it offers the opportunity to influence how finance operates in a modern, data-driven organisation. You will manage RTR activities for international entities while helping shape the future of a technology-enabled finance function.

• Act as primary finance contact for assigned entities.
• Manage general ledger activities and month‑end close.
• Complete P&L and balance sheet analysis, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Contribute to service standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate processes and implement optimisation and automation opportunities.
• Support statutory accounting and VAT requirements as needed.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA).
• Experience in RTR within a multinational environment; Shared Services an advantage.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Proficient in SAP (or similar ERP) and Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills. xcfaprz
