Family Support Practitioner

PE Global Healthcare are seeking Family Support Practitioners on behalf of our client to provide home-based support with the safe care of children. This is a hands‑on, community‑based role where child welfare is paramount. In this role the Family Support Practitioner will provide home‑based, family‑focused support to help parents and carers sustain the safe care of their children. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team they will report to the Family Support Co‑ordinator/Manager, Team Leader or Principal Social Worker.

• 
  
• QQI Level 6 (or higher) major award in any of the following: Social Care, Health Promotion, Childcare, Education, Family Support, or equivalent recognised qualification
  
• Knowledge of and ability to undertake the duties of the role
  
• Full driving licence & access to transport (role involves travel)
  
• Awareness of participatory practice with children and young people

• 39‑hour working week
  
• 23–25 days annual leave
