Client Accountant

An established organisation is seeking a qualified Client Accountant to join its finance team in Dublin. This role sits within a high performing environment managing a substantial and diverse portfolio.

• You are a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  
• You have strong financial reporting and reconciliation experience
  
• You communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels
  
• You take ownership of your work and see tasks through to completion
  
• You are highly organised with strong attention to detail
  
• You are comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities
  
• Experience working with portfolio based accounts would be advantageous but not essential
  
• Exposure to integrated finance systems would be beneficial

• Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial and management reports for assigned clients
  
• Maintain integrity of all financial data across your portfolio
  
• Complete and review key reconciliations with appropriate supporting documentation
  
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
  
• Analyse financial performance and provide clear insight into variances
  
• Support annual budgeting processes and review budget versus actual performance
  
• Build strong working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  
• Support audit requirements and provide requested documentation in a timely manner

• Collaborate with operational teams to resolve queries and financial issues
  
• Review reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and consistency
  
• Contribute to system and process enhancement initiatives

• Support wider finance projects as required by the business
  
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting

• Submit a report without checking the reconciliations balance
  
• Blame Mercury being in retrograde for a missed deadline
