North Tipperary Community Services CLG, trading as Silver Arch Family Resource Centre (FRC) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to enhancing the well‑being of families in North Tipperary. Through various programmes and initiatives, we provide support, resources, and advocacy to empower families and individuals to thrive.

We are currently seeking passionate and committed individuals to join our voluntary Board of Directors. As a board member, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation, ensuring financial sustainability, and advancing our mission to support families.

• Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the organisation's operations and programmes.
• Actively participate in board meetings, subcommittee meetings, and special events.
• Support fundraising efforts and contribute to financial planning and oversight.
• Serve as ambassadors for Silver Arch FRC within the regionand advocate for our mission and values.
• Collaborate with fellow board members, staff, and stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.

• Demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Silver Arch FRC.
• Previous experience serving on a non-profit board or relevant leadership experience.
• Expertise in areas such as finance, fundraising, governance, community development & social enterprise, marketing, risk & strategic planning or human resources is desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to dedicate time and energy to fulfill board responsibilities effectively.
• Very familiar with the social and community needs at local level in North Tipperary, particularly the Nenagh & Newport Local Electoral Areas.

Board members are expected to attend monthly board meetings, participate in subcommittee work as needed, and actively engage in organisational activities. The estimated time commitment is approximately 10 hours per month, including meetings and additional tasks.
