The Childrens Disability Network services in CHO 2 are delivered by the following lead agencies: HSE, Brothers of Charity, Ability West. We are currently recruiting for a Children’s Disability Network Manager to join our team in CDNT Galway – Network 5 Seamus Quirke Road, Galway.
Contract Details
Contract Type: Full Time Fixed term (1 year maternity leave cover)
Contract Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: €90,076 to €99,140 per annum with 7 points on the scale.
For this vacancy the Children’s Disability Network Manager will be employed by the Brothers of Charity and seconded to Enable Ireland.
Essential Criteria
- Have a relevant professional qualification in Nursing or a Health and Social Care profession and where appropriate, have statutory registration or professional registration/accreditation.
- Have a minimum of five years post qualification experience including three years working in or managing the delivery of children’s disability therapeutic services.
- Have a requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and management ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
Overview of Duties & Responsibilities
- To promote child and family centred practice within the Lead Agency.
- To provide strategic leadership and direction for the team that results in delivery of effective, efficient, quality assured and person‑centred services in collaboration with the Lead Agency and in line with National Policy.
- To be accountable for the management and reporting of all financial allocations (pay and non‑pay) associated with the delivery of Children’s Disability Services in the assigned network.
