Electrical Design Engineer

Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – *Immediate Start*

A leading engineering consultancy in Dublin is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join its Building Services team immediately. You’ll work alongside senior engineers on high-profile projects in the healthcare, education, and commercial office sectors.

• Assist in the development of electrical design solutions for buildings of various scales
• Support environmental performance assessments such as daylight and overheating analysis
• Contribute to the design of energy-efficient electrical systems
• Attend design meetings and site visits with senior team members
• Participate in quality checks and ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
• 2–4 years of experience in electrical services design, preferably within a consultancy
• Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux, or similar tools (IES experience a bonus but not essential)
• Understanding of Irish building regulations and sustainable design principles
• Actively pursuing chartership (support will be provided)
