Ergo IT Recruitment Services is seeking experienced Senior IT Field Engineers to support multiple sites across County Kerry and neighbouring counties. The role is for a large client and will involve installing, configuring, and supporting a wide range of IT hardware, software, and network systems. This is an initial 12 month contract day rate role which will extend beyond this.

What will you do?
- Install and configure PCs, laptops, IP settings, system images, and domain joins.
- Support and maintain VMware‑based virtual desktop environments.
- Set up and troubleshoot iOS and Android devices.
- Provide technical support for digital radio systems and antenna equipment.
- Assist with Control Room technologies, including CCTV platforms.
- Configure and support telephony systems (Avaya/Cisco)
- Carry out network patching and general network support tasks.
- Install and maintain networked printers and scanners.
- Create clear technical documentation
What do you need?
- At least 6 years' experience in a similar field support role/Sys Admin/L2
- Strong knowledge of VMware and virtualisation technologies.
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
- Ability to support a broad range of hardware and software systems. xcfaprz
