Aviation Cybersecurity Lead

We’re seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Lead to drive cybersecurity oversight within a nationally regulated aviation environment.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for implementing aviation cybersecurity quality and compliance frameworks in line with EU legislation (including NIS2 and CER) and national security requirements. You’ll oversee regulated entities, lead a growing specialist team, and act as a key advisor on regulatory and enforcement matters.

• Lead aviation cybersecurity oversight and compliance programmes
  
• Lead and support a high-performing cybersecurity team
  
• Oversee audits, inspections, approvals, and regulatory reporting
  
• Engage with domestic and international stakeholders
  
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership
  

• 
  
• 7–10+ years’ cybersecurity experience (3+ in leadership/oversight)

• Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST CSF or similar frameworks
  
• Experience in aviation, critical infrastructure, or other regulated sectors
  
• Relevant degree and certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, GIAC desirable)
  
• Eligibility for enhanced security clearance
