General Kitchen Helper

Château Baie-Comeau, a friendly private seniors' residence, is looking for someone to fill a full-time general kitchen helper position. We offer group insurance, telemedicine, an employee assistance program, and more!

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Wash dishes after each meal and store them in appropriate places

Food Services

• Assemble plates of food
• Be required to participate in the serving of meals and/or light housework when required
• Clean kitchen equipment
• Ensure the kitchen and equipment are kept clean according to established hygiene and cleanliness standards
• Peel and cut vegetables for meals
• Perform other related duties

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good team player
• Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
