The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile practices and fostering high-performing, cross-functional teams within the IT organization. This role supports multiple products and multiple Product Owners, ensuring Scrum principles are consistently applied while enabling teams to deliver high-quality solutions efficiently. The Scrum Master acts as a servant leader, coach, and facilitator, removing impediments, promoting continuous improvement, and strengthening collaboration between Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders.
This position plays a critical role in advancing Agile maturity and supporting the successful delivery of business value across the product portfolio.
The Scrum Master supports multiple Agile teams and Product Owners by facilitating Scrum events, coaching team members, and ensuring alignment with Agile values and best practices. This role partners closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and leadership to promote transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across products.
*Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:*
* Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for multiple teams and products.
* Support and coach multiple Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and effective story definition.
* Reviews Azure DevOps board to manage sprint delivery, updating task status and reassigning tasks as necessary.
* Remove impediments and proactively identify risks that may impact team delivery or product outcomes.
* Promote Agile best practices and coach teams on self-organization, cross-functionality, and continuous improvement.
* Coordinate dependencies and alignment across multiple products, teams, and stakeholders.
* Track and communicate team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, throughput, predictability) to support transparency and informed decision-making.
* Foster strong collaboration between IT teams, Product Owners, and business stakeholders.
* Support Agile transformation initiatives and contribute to improving Agile maturity across the organization.
* Encourage a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement within and across teams.
* Create Product Status Reports in accordance with Project Management Office standards
*Education and Experience Requirements:*
· Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Preferred: Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe Scrum Master).
*Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* 3–5 years of experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, preferably supporting multiple teams, products, or Product Owners.
* Strong understanding of Scrum, Agile principles, and iterative delivery frameworks.
* Demonstrated ability to coach Product Owners and development teams in Agile roles and responsibilities.
* Experience managing dependencies and priorities across multiple products or workstreams.
* Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to influence without authority and work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Familiarity with Agile metrics and tools. (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms)
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
