Location: IT: IT Infrastucture POSITION SUMMARY
The Lead Applications Developer is responsible for application development, web development, web graphics, system integrations and technical support. The incumbent will work with customers to develop custom applications, configure new applications, modify existing applications, design prototype applications, test source code, troubleshoot application issues and provide an estimation of tasks. Will also provide oversight and review of development by other application developers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information technology (IT), computer science or a related field required Master's degree in related IT field preferred Additional years of equivalent professional experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement
CERTIFICATION:
Microsoft Certification PL-200 Microsoft Certification PL-400 preferred Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate preferred Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE:
5+ years in application development, with at least 3 + years' experience in SharePoint, Power Platform including Power Pages focus. AGILE / Waterfall methodologies Experience in K 12 education or public sector preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Participates in all phases of systems development life cycle (SDLC) through application development Leads and/or supports enhancements/upgrades for on premise and vendor managed applications, may require setup, configuration and system development Analyzes requirements and develops solutions that meet specifications Leads and participates in peer-to-peer code reviews Proficient in SQL and programming languages (XML, Javascript, Java, HTML, CSS, Powerscript, C# and/or .NET preferred) Proficient in web design, software design, programming and configuration in cloud based systems Ability to develop integrations between multiple systems High Proficiency with Office 365 SharePoint and Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBI and PowerAutomate) Knowledge of vendor management • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies Ability to work under pressure, adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated, proactive, action-oriented, results-driven Flexible and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment that supports students and schools Strong team player with proven ability to collaborate across teams Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and senior management Strong work ethic to learn and train other team members ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for maintaining the health of the platform Leads, develops and supports integrations across multiple applications Supports and conducts quality unit testing, functional testing and validation efforts infusing quality standards into the solution Proactively monitors the system for issues identifying root cause and solutions Drives resolution of application and integration issues/defects for on premise and vendor managed applications Reviews documentation as needed for communication, testing, maintenance and support purposes including user guides Liaise with vendors to ensure application alignment with APS IT standards and current technology portfolio. Provides effective communication to stakeholders of technical concerns, issues and solutions Performs other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator Required to attend scheduled shift during regular business hours as mandated Administrative experience for O365 including Admin Center and knowledge of inter dependencies between administration of SharePoint / Azure AD / Teams / ShareGate and Power Platform Technologies Required to have prompt, regular attendance in person and be available to work on-site during regular business hours and as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the appropriate administrator or their representative
