The Developer Experience (DevX) organization is dedicated to empowering engineers like you to develop, build, test, and launch high-quality code swiftly and reliably through specialized tools and systems designed for Coinbase engineers. Using React Native and Expo, you will craft innovative tools that enhance the developer experience and streamline app releases. Join us in revolutionizing mobile application development and deployment! Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain mobile infrastructure using technologies such as React Native, iOS, and Android.
Create and enhance developer tools to simplify and accelerate the mobile development process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and optimize app performance.
Implement automation strategies for app releases and ensure seamless over-the-air updates.
Participate in code reviews and mentor peers to cultivate a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in mobile development to drive innovation within the team.
What We Are Looking For: Expertise in React Native or significant experience in iOS or Android development, with a keen interest in learning React Native.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, as our tools are built using these languages.
A strong desire to explore and adapt to new technologies.
Outstanding problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards improving developer experiences.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications: A proven track record of contributing to high-quality, scalable mobile applications.
Experience with mobile infrastructure and developer tools.
Familiarity with Swift or Kotlin is a plus.
Understanding of cross-platform development practices.
Previous experience in a fintech or tech company recognized for mobile innovation.

Based on your work location, the target annual salary for this position is detailed below. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay Range: $180,625-$212,000 USD Please note that candidates are allowed to submit a maximum of four applications within any 30-day period.
