Radiology Physician

ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Radiologist to support imaging services across three hospital-based sites. The role focuses heavily on body imaging , with openness to both on-site and remote readers who are body-imaging trained or highly experienced. Providers will read a mix of CT, ultrasound, and body MRI with variable daily volumes depending on rotation.

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 3-month timeframe)

• Coverage Need: Locum coverage while recruiting permanent body imagers

• Call: Negotiable

• Schedule Requirements: Must be available at least three weeks per month

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based; reading for LUMC (primary site), GMH, and MNH

• Reading Volumes (vary by rotation):

  • CTs/day

  • OR 100 X-rays/day

  • OR 60 ultrasounds/day

• Trauma Levels:

  • LUMC Level I

  • GMH Level II

  • MNH Level II

• EMR / Systems: Epic, PowerScribe, Intelerad PACS, Softek Illuminate

• Department: 40 FTE radiologists (9 CT readers, 4 body MRI readers)

• Teleradiology: Yes

• Patient Population: All ages (pediatric reading not required)

• Required Imaging Modalities: CT, Ultrasound, Body MRI

• Board Certified Radiologist REQUIRED

• Illinois State License REQUIRED

• Fellowship in Body Imaging REQUIRED

• BLS Certification REQUIRED

• DEA Registration & CDS Certification REQUIRED

• Availability for 3 weeks per month REQUIRED
