Fund Accounting Manager - Remote

As a Fund Accounting Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end NAV calculation process in line with established procedures and under the guidance of the Fund Accounting Director and Managing Director.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of NAVs while maintaining a strong focus on client service and team development. This role requires a detailed understanding of hedge fund administration and a proactive approach to managing both people and processes.

• Oversee the delivery of high-quality fund accounting services to a portfolio of hedge fund clients.
  
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact in collaboration with the Fund Accounting Director.
  
• Manage and develop a team of up to 10 fund accounting professionals, ensuring performance goals are met and staff receive ongoing support and training.
  
• Ensure adherence to established control frameworks and operational procedures across the team.
  
• Review and approve daily and monthly NAV calculations, reconciliations, fee calculations, and performance allocations.
  
• Ensure all aged items on cash and position reconciliations are resolved promptly.
  
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the NAV production cycle.
  
• Manage and coordinate the year-end audit process, including preparation of financial statements and liaison with external auditors.
  
• Support new fund launches, client onboarding, and transitions.
  

• 
  
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in hedge fund administration, including at least 3 years at supervisory or management level.
  
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
  
• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA, ACA) — qualified, part-qualified, or actively pursuing.
  
• Strong technical understanding of hedge fund structures and NAV calculation methodologies.
  
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  
• High degree of IT literacy with proficiency in relevant fund accounting systems and MS Office.
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
