**Objective
**The Patient Support Programme Nurse Manager will be employed by Point of Care but dedicated to one specific Client’s service offering.

**MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*** Overall responsibility for leading, developing, and supporting a clinical nursing team to ensure the delivery of a safe, high‑quality service to patients in their home or community setting.
* Overseeing the day‑to‑day delivery of services in accordance with approved policies & procedures.
* Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) as defined by the company and/or the client.
* Oversight of clinical safety, quality, compliance, and appropriate escalation of clinical issues.
* Supporting decision‑making for complex patients, adverse reactions, or therapy complications, helping to keep patients cared for in the comfort of their homes.
* Maintaining a high standard of clinical care through quality audits, incident reporting, and risk assessments.
* Leading investigations for clinical incidents or complaints, ensuring learning is shared and embedded.
* Accurately reporting details of any Adverse Events, Product Complaints and/or Clinical Incidents as per company policy & within specified timelines.
* Acknowledging & understanding when escalation is required.
* Carrying out duties in line with all regulatory, nursing and industry standards e.g.
NMBI Code of Professional Conduct, IPHA Code of Practice.
* Ensuring clear nurse & patient education around therapy, potential side effects, care of devices (e.g., PICC lines, intermates etc).
* Promoting a positive patient experience through high‑quality communication, continuity of care, and personalised support.
* Addressing patient concerns promptly and empathetically, escalating when necessary.
* Supporting hospitals with feedback on the service from their patients to achieve better healthcare outcomes and enhanced patient care.
* Promoting and educating HCPs on the end-to-end service offering to include education on the referral process and the provision of HCP and/or Patient support materials.
* Working in partnership with referring Healthcare Professionals and ensuring flexibility to facilitate their needs, e.g.
attendance at Breakfast Meetings, etc., as required.
* Participating in meetings with the company and the Client as required.
* Identifying and delivering any proposed service improvements as agreed from time to time in agreement with the company and the Client.
* Acting as the primary contact regarding all aspects of the service offering.
* Providing timely updates, reports, and insights, highlighting risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
* Preparing & submitting daily, weekly, monthly and/or quarterly reports as required.
* Travelling to designated areas within Ireland as agreed from time to time by the company and the Client.
* Ensuring flexibility to attend national and international study days/seminars/conferences as required.
* Demonstrating strong commercial awareness.
* Performing any other duties as required based on company needs.
**QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED
*** Minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
* Qualified RGN and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
* Demonstrable experience in antimicrobial therapy, IV therapy, OPAT services, or acute medicine.
* Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
* Strong understanding of infection management, antimicrobial stewardship, and community‑based therapy pathways.
* Excellent communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
* Competence in clinical audit, governance, and service improvement.
* A positive ‘can-do’ attitude with a high level of self-motivation, demonstrating the ability to work under own initiative.
* Effective diary/territory management and efficient planning and organisational skills.
* High clinical standards
* Customer service oriented.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team. xcfaprz
