Senior Mechanical Engineer

A global innovator in pharmaceuticals and medical‑device technology is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Device Engineering team in Dublin. You’ll work on the development of a new complex medical device while supporting ongoing product improvements within a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

In this role, you’ll be central to progressing device concepts through development, verification, and validation. Key areas you'll lead or support include:

• Designing electro‑mechanical components & plastic single‑use parts
  
• Creating and executing test plans & characterization protocols
  
• Root‑cause analysis and development of technical solutions
  
• Technical reviews across new and sustaining product development
  
• Documenting findings and contributing to shared engineering knowledge
  
• Working according to design‑control and risk‑management processes

• 3+ years engineering experience
  
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and initiative
  
• Experience developing complex devices from concept to validation
  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  
• BS or MS in engineering or scientific discipline
