Shared Services Finance Director

The Financial Shared Services Director is a key role within the business. The successful candidate will have expertise in transformation and automation technologies and will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and technological advancement of our client's financial shared services function. Reporting to the CFO and part of the Finance Leadership Team, the successful candidate will provide professional leadership and manage the operations of high-performance team

• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to embrace change and drive continuous improvement
  
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the financial shared services, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  
• Implement best practices in financial operations, establish performance metrics, and monitor KPIs to track progress and measure success.
  
• Develop and execute a comprehensive transformation strategy for the financial shared services function, aligning it with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate manual financial processes.
  
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to evaluate, select, and implement automation tools
  
• Establish robust internal controls, security measures, and compliance frameworks
  
• Develop and manage the budget for the financial shared services function
  
• Provide explicit and credible financial leadership at senior management and Board level.

• Qualified Accountant with 10 years experience with shared services experience
  
• Pervious experience in a multinational company with a large headcount and a B2B businesses.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and good communication ability, with a proven record of partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale financial transformation projects and driving process automation initiatives.

• Strong understanding of emerging technologies such as RPA, AI, ML, data analytics, and their applications in finance.
