Embedded C, Engineer - Min 3 Years embedded Development

Sensors-based technology has a wide range of applications including navigation, gaming, smart user interface, multimedia, virtual reality and augmented reality. This challenging position offers the opportunity to work with leading edge sensor technologies embedded in smartphones, automotive, IOT, smartwatches as well as other consumer electronics devices. Job activities span the whole product lifecycle from early R&D to commercial deployment. The successful candidate will work with systems, software, and integration/test engineers in the QCT sensors group.

• 
  
• Embedded Software Development in C, C++
  
• Unit Testing and system testing using frameworks like GoogleTest
  
• Architecting software frameworks and modules on a variety of cores like CPU, Embedded MCU, and GPU
  
• Implementing system algorithms, performance testing, debugging, verifying and optimizing the implementations.
  
• Creating reports on algorithm evaluation results and delivering completed design and user documentation
  
• Communication of the design, results and issue to product management, systems and SW leads
  
• Programming in one interpreted language such as Python
  

• 
  
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related and 2 years of ASIC Design, verification, OR a Master’s degree in Science, Engineering or related and 1 year of ASIC Design, verification, or related work experience; PhD degree in Science or Engineering.

• Experience in the following areas:
  
• Development of compilers, interpreters, and software toolchains.
  
• Familiarity with hardware architectures such as CPUs, GPU’s, and NPU’s.
  
• RTOS and device drivers.
  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced team environment.
  
• Knowledge of MEMs & inertial sensors.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  

Salary is up to around €55k-€60k plus benefits. The client has an extensive benefits package including health, employee assistance, and other benefit programs to enhance employee quality of life, and an exceptional pension scheme and stock options package.
