Our client, a reputable and established Irish food company based in Co. Offaly, are seeking aPart QualifiedAccountantto join their Group Finance team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to and collaborate within a large, dynamic finance department, sharing expertise, skills, knowledge, and continuous improvement.

This role will support the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful financial information to help business leaders make informed decisions. This role provides hands‑on experience across budgeting, forecasting, weekly and month‑end reporting, cost analysis, and business partnering across the organisation.


1 Year Contract – Hybrid working available after successful completion of probation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts for senior management and the board.
  • Support the analysis of Balance Sheet schedules and month‑end reporting.
  • Contribute to weekly accounts preparation, KPIs, and cost analysis.
  • Assist with year‑end audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
  • Monitor variances against budgets and standards.
  • Contribute to annual budget preparation and Capex project reviews.
  • Support ad‑hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Part‑qualified accountant ore recently qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with 1–2 years’ experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or accounting practice.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles; exposure to IFRS/FRS 102 is beneficial.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivots, lookups, nested formulas) and familiarity with BI tools a plus.

  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
