We are seeking a reliable and efficient Picker/Packer for our warehouse in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from our inventory to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packaging them for shipment. You'll utilize scanning technology and follow detailed instructions to ensure order accuracy and efficiency. This position is vital to our Logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Inspect products for any damage or defects.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Follow all warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
- Proper use of required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is desirable.
- Familiarity with handheld scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work at a steady pace in a dynamic environment.
- Physical capability to perform tasks including standing, walking, and Lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Understanding of Logistics and warehouse Safety practices.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
Your role as a Picker/Packer is crucial for our Logistics network. We prioritize a safe workplace and require adherence to all established Safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
