We are actively recruiting Picker/Packers for our busy distribution center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is fundamental to our logistics network, ensuring that customer orders are processed with speed and accuracy. As a Picker/Packer, you will be tasked with retrieving specific items from warehouse stock and preparing them for shipment, ensuring they are packed securely and correctly labeled. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to workplace safety, including using appropriate PPE and adhering to proper lifting techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve items from warehouse inventory based on order specifications.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packaging.
- Pack products using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately to all packages.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper lifting procedures and the use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily order fulfillment goals.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
- Report any stock discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Perform tasks that involve consistent lifting and movement of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a Picker/Packer role or warehouse setting is desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail for order verification and packing accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and PPE requirements.
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Demonstrated ability to perform safe lifting of items.
- Basic understanding of inventory and logistics concepts.
