We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Worker to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving a range of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position offers a chance to gain valuable experience in the logistics and supply chain industry.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Sort and store inventory in appropriate locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper stock rotation.
- Accurately pick items based on order requirements using pick lists or scanners.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping, using correct packaging materials.
- Load and unload trucks and other vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including work areas and aisles.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Participate in regular inventory counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support team members and contribute to a positive and productive logistics environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for the duration of the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are critical.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety practices and procedures.
