Job Summary:
Our Las Vegas, Nevada distribution center is looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse stock. This role is vital for optimizing our logistics operations and ensuring that our inventory data is precise. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a thorough understanding of inventory management principles.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to verify stock levels.
  • Investigate and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures to minimize losses and errors.
  • Manage the receiving and put-away process to ensure accurate placement of goods.
  • Monitor stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) to prevent obsolescence and ensure product freshness.
  • Generate inventory reports for management, highlighting key metrics and trends.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff, procurement, and logistics teams to resolve inventory issues.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions are maintained to protect inventory quality.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE, and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a related logistics role.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain principles.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
