Job Summary:
Join our team in Sacramento, California, as an Inventory Control Specialist. This pivotal role involves maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our extensive inventory. You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient use of warehouse space. Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain the warehouse management system (WMS) with real-time inventory data.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to manage stock effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or management in a warehouse environment.
  • Expertise in WMS and other inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
