You will be responsible for implementing and overseeing inventory control procedures, conducting audits, managing stock levels, and ensuring efficient use of warehouse space. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Manage stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO) and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Oversee the receiving and put-away process to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the warehouse management system (WMS) with real-time inventory data.
- Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to manage stock effectively.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in inventory control or management in a warehouse environment.
- Expertise in WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving occasional Lifting, up to 30 lbs.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
