We are seeking dedicated and passionate Group Supervisors and Assistant Group Supervisors to lead and inspire our team in providing exceptional care and educational experiences for children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, classroom management, and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves overseeing program activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and fostering the development of both staff and students.
*Responsibilities*
* Supervise daily operations of the program, ensuring compliance with safety and educational standards.
* Develop and implement engaging curriculum that promotes childhood development and learning.
* Manage classroom dynamics, utilizing effective behavior management techniques to create a positive learning environment.
* Provide support and guidance to staff, including training on best practices in childcare and education.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and program updates.
* Organize activities that enhance social skills, teamwork, and personal growth among students.
* Ensure proper documentation of student records, including assessments and progress reports.
* Collaborate with special education professionals to support children with diverse needs.
*Skills*
* Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment.
* Knowledge of first aid practices to ensure the safety of all participants.
* Experience in special education is preferred for supporting diverse learners.
* Proven teaching experience with a focus on early childhood education principles.
* Background in childcare settings such as daycare or camps is highly valued.
* Familiarity with tutoring methods to assist students in achieving their academic goals.
* Skills in Christian counseling or similar approaches are beneficial for holistic development.
* Experience working with children through sports coaching, babysitting, or theater programs is a plus.
