We are hiring a skilled Reach Truck Operator for our state-of-the-art warehouse facility in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a reach truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be required to safely and efficiently move inventory throughout the warehouse, ensuring optimal storage and accessibility. This position demands precision, a strong understanding of warehouse Safety procedures, and the ability to work independently. You will perform daily pre-operational checks on your equipment to ensure it is in good working condition. Inventory accuracy is critical, and you will assist in maintaining it by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies. This role involves considerable physical activity outside of operating the reach truck, including potential Lifting requirements when moving or arranging items. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. A valid forklift or reach truck operator certification is highly preferred. Prior experience in a high-volume warehouse environment within the Logistics sector is a significant advantage.
