We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our logistics facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of goods, managing inventory, and supervising warehouse staff. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a deep understanding of warehouse management principles. You will play a key part in optimizing warehouse processes, improving productivity, and maintaining a safe working environment. Your coordination efforts will directly impact the effectiveness of our supply chain and the satisfaction of our clients. The ideal candidate is proactive, a problem-solver, and committed to operational excellence within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse personnel, including pickers, packers, and forklift operators.
- Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Implement and maintain efficient warehouse workflows and processes.
- Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
- Maintain records of warehouse activities and prepare regular reports for management.
- Optimize space utilization within the warehouse.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to maintain productivity.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience implementing safety programs is essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain operations.
