Tax Technology and Data Operations Manager

Join EY as a Tax Technology and Data Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in our Global Tax Center of Excellence (Global Tax CoE). In this role, you will support our most challenging, multi‑jurisdiction clients by driving the adoption of innovative technology and data solutions throughout the entire engagement lifecycle.

The Tax Technology and Data Operations (TDO) team brings together specialists with extensive technology and data operations experience. We focus on:

• 
  
• Driving market success by adopting and championing new technologies, tools, solutions and ways of working, working directly with clients and account teams
  
• Developing design and architecture of technology and data solutions, ensuring alignment with global standards and tailoring them to client and EY delivery environments
  
• Managing client accounts end-to-end, from implementation through service delivery, ensuring successful deployment of agreed solutions and overseeing ongoing operations to meet performance and quality standards
  
• Contributing to the evolution of firm‑wide tools, technologies, and processes by applying deep business insights, technical expertise, and market experience gained through direct client engagements

• Lead TDO activities across the full engagement lifecycle, including proposal writing, pitches, resource management, process definition, and delivery of services
  
• Collaborate with a broad network of account, tax technical, financial and tax compliance teams representing the TDO team
  
• Support the evolution and implementation of new technologies and standards to transform service delivery
  
• Deploy and position market‑leading technologies and solutions internally and directly to clients
  

• 
  
• Strong client relationship management skills and ability to deliver high‑quality outputs in complex situations
  
• Experience and understanding of technology deployment models (e.g. requirements, design, implementation) and data management/operations
  
• Experience delivering complex client projects involving technology, transformation and data operations
  
• Experience working in and managing virtual teams across multiple locations with varied skill sets
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a client‑facing environment with internal and external stakeholders
  
• Effective time management and composure under pressure to meet deadlines
  
• Innovative thinking to solve business and operational challenges through technology, data and automation
  
• Collaboration skills to work with a broad group of stakeholders
  
• Clear communication of technical or complex messages in simple terms

• Degree-level qualification in accounting and/or tax or proven record in a professional services environment
  
• Knowledge in data automation, transformation, cloud computing, and compliance technologies
  
• Experience or understanding in core ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle
  
• Business development skills, and ability to present and pitch ideas and technology internally and externally
