We have a fantastic opportunity for an Associate Scientist to join our Process Control Water Microbiology team in Dungarvan Co Waterford.

The purpose of this job is to carry out scientific test procedures on customers’ samples and produce accurate results within an acceptable time frame using company procedures.

• 
  
• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
  
• Complete test records on time, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
  
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
  
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare exception reports.
  
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
  
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
  
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
  
• Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
  
• Ensure customer requirements are met; demonstrate flexibility to work across business areas.
  

Experience / Skills

• 
  
• Prior GMPexperience preferred.
  
• Adegree or diploma in a Scientific discipline
  
• Good team player, organised, accurate, have strong documentation skills
  
• Passionate about quality and customer service
  
• Good communication skills both internally and externally
  

Please note: In the future there may be a requirment to work Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.
