SimoTech has an exciting opportunity to join our dynamicteam as an Information System (IS) Support Analyst. In this role, you will be akey player in maintaining and improving our internal IT infrastructure,ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This position offers a chance to workon various IS projects and tasks, including system administration, ERPdevelopment, infrastructure-hardware maintenance, cybersecurity administrationand end-user support. We are looking for someone who is proactive, taskfocused, attentive, and capable of handling multiple priorities withease.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft365, Active Directory, ERP systems, and IT infrastructure management, alongwith a passion for problem-solving and supporting a fast-pacedenvironment.
- Administer and maintain key IT systems and infrastructure, handling Level 1-2 break-fix tasks and user account management.
- Assist in executing SimoTech’s broader IT strategy and contribute to the ongoing development of our IT environment.
- Implement changes, curate data and create ad-hoc reports in our Zoho One ERP platform.
- Administer the IT service desk platform and conduct monthly back-ups to safeguard integrity.
- Manage end-user devices, including provisioning computers and smartphones, performing OS imaging, software installations, licensing and profile setups.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability and security of IT systems.
- Contribute to the vulnerability and patch management processes to keep devices secure and updated.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure good data governance, integrity and validation
- Oversee device deployment and security using endpoint management tools, maintaining compliance with internal policies.
- Respond to incidents and requests related to infrastructure, client hardware, and Microsoft 365, ensuring prompt and effective support.
- Create and maintain documentation for systems and support issues, enhancing team knowledge sharing.
- Support continuous improvement of information systems, processes and workflows.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT Service Desk or Desktop Support role, with a third-level qualification in an IT-related field.
- 1+ year’s professional working experience is preferred
- Certifications such as ITILv4, CompTIA A+, or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
- Strong experience in configuring and maintaining Microsoft 365, Device Management platforms, and/or End Point Protection applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a high level of self-motivation.
- Familiarity with corporate networks and basic troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
