Financial Controller, Technology, Dublin (Hybrid)

Our client are a rapidly growing global Tech business with ambitious plans to grow in 2026 both organically and through continued M&A activivity. Due to their growth levels to date they have a new requirement to appoint an experienced Financial Controller who will support the CFO across all areas of finance.

This role will report to the CFO and support across all areas in finance, it will encompass a project and transformational element along with managing regular finance activities. There is a strong focus on automation and process improvement ensuring a scalable finance function to support their growth trajectory.

Some of the duties will include:

• Lead and develop a multi jurisdictional finance team
• Support with M&A activity
• Deliver financial reporting and KPI analysis
• Budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
• Manage Year End process and liaise with Group Auditors
• Review and improve accounting systems, policies and procedures and continually optimise the accounting operations
• ERP system implementation
• Managing all reporting back to lenders

The role is high profile within the business and successful candidate should possess the following skills and knowledge:

• Qualified accountant with at least 8 years PQE
• Relevant industry gained within a fast paced environment, ideally PE backed
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team
• Excellent technical financial accounting skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• The ability to work within tight deadlines, pay close attention to detail and ensure quality in output
• A well-motivated team player with a strong ability to work on own initiative
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
• Working knowledge of financial systems
