Access Talent Group is partnering with an award-winning global consultancy seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a major road, cycling, and active travel project in the eastern part of Galway City.

This senior position involves on‑site supervision, administration, monitoring, and inspection of construction activities. You will work closely with a Resident Engineer and Clerk of Works/Inspector, ensuring successful project delivery while upholding the highest standards in Environment, Sustainability, and Health & Safety.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  
• Extensive experience supervising and inspecting roadworks construction, including pavement, drainage, ducting, signage, and lighting.
  
• Strong leadership and decision‑making abilities.
  
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a project team.
  
• Chartered Engineer status (or working towards it).
  
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Competitive salary based on experience. Company‑provided vehicle for the duration of the project. 25 days of annual leave, plus the option to purchase an additional 5 days.
