KM Lynskey is a well-established specialist subcontractor delivering partitions, ceilings and internal fit-out projects across Ireland and Europe. With a strong pipeline of data centre and commercial projects, we operate across multiple sites and jurisdictions, supporting large-scale construction projects throughout the European market.

Due to continued growth across our European portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Role Overview

The Payroll Manager will oversee payroll operations across multiple construction sites in Ireland and support payroll coordination across EMEA countries. The role involves liaising with international payroll providers and ensuring full compliance with tax and employment regulations across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run end-to-end payroll (bi-weekly / monthly) for Ireland
  • Liaise and coordinate with payroll providers across EMEA countries
  • Liaise with Payroll Administrator in relation to timesheets, worker accommodation administration, and payroll inputs.
  • Oversee time management system, clocking and badge control
  • Support with the overtime, site allowances, travel and subsistence payments
  • Ensure tax and statutory compliance across Ireland and EMEA
  • Manage A1 certificates and track cross-border workforce movement
  • Support rollout of new in-house payroll/HR system
  • Assist xcfaprz with payroll compliance, reporting and issuing payslips
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ payroll experience
  • Experience in construction or multi-site environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Irish and/or EMEA payroll (IPASS qualified or similar preferred)
  • Experience supporting EMEA payroll compliance
  • Knowledge of A1 management and international assignments
  • Experience working with external payroll providers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tight deadlines
