Design Build Search is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager with a background in residential construction on behalf of our client, a residential builder with an upcoming project in Swords, Co. Dublin.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all on-site construction activities for residential projects (houses, apartments, or mixed developments).
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives to maintain workflow and meet programme deadlines.
  • Ensure site logistics are planned effectively, including deliveries, waste management, and material storage.
  • Monitor daily progress and maintain site diaries and progress reports.
  • Enforce strict compliance with HSE regulations and company safety procedures.
  • Act as primary point of contact on site for subcontractors, consultants, and inspectors

Requirements
  • 5–7 years’ experience managing residential construction sites (new-build housing).
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, trades coordination, and site sequencing.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and lead site teams.
  • Solid understanding of building regulations, NHBC/LABC requirements, and H&S legislation.
  • Experience delivering homes through to completion and handover. xcfaprz
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Competent with site documentation, digital reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
