• Lead and participate in process mapping of existing manufacturing processes and translate them into digital workflows for MES implementation.
  
• Design, develop, configure and test MES recipes within Emerson Syncade to support production in line with regulatory compliance.
  
• Author and review change control documentation, test protocols, and validation deliverables (IQ/OQ/PQ) to ensure adherence to site procedures and industry standards.
  
• Provide technical support during recipe deployment and troubleshoot issues to maintain system integrity and performance.
  
• Oversee and review technical outputs from the MES team, ensuring quality and compliance with project objectives.
  
• Provide advice on best practices and generate strategies for new MES projects, including recipe design and system configuration approaches.
  
• Coordinate technical activities across multiple workstreams, acting as a subject matter expert for Emerson Syncade MES.
  
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate engineers, fostering knowledge transfer and team development.
  
• Work closely with key stakeholders to align MES solutions with project goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 5+ years of experience with Emerson Syncade MES in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  
• Broad technical expertise in the delivery of MES projects, including design, configuration, testing and deployment of recipes and electronic batch records (EBR).
  
• Experience authoring and reviewing change control documentation, test protocols and validation deliverables (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  
• Ability to troubleshoot MES issues and provide technical support during implementation and operation.
  
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  
• Strong understanding of GMP, GAMP5 and 21 CFR Part 11.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
  
• Demonstrated leadership capability or project management experience, including reviewing technical outputs, mentoring team members and managing project timelines and deliverables.
