IT Lab Systems Engineer - Immediate contract

Ergo are seeking an IT Lab Systems Engineer to work onsite with a leading pharmaceutical client in Dublin 15. In this exciting role you support existing infrastructure and set up new lab environments including workstations and equipment.

You should have experience supporting IT users within a GxP environment and be familiar with lab systems (e.g. LIMS / MES).

This is an immediate Contract requirement with long-term potential and great day rates.

• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and related IT infrastructure.
  
• Install, upgrade and maintain new and existing laboratory equipment
  
• Conduct system surveys and validation activities, ensuring compliance with pharma and IT quality requirements.
  
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and equipment support, managing service levels and issue resolution.
  
• Provide IT support for lab systems and instruments, ensuring minimal downtime.
  
• Testing of IT, lab and other systems
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues impacting lab operations.
  
• Support system documentation, change control, and audit readiness activities.

• IT Support on Windows systems
  
• Lab equipment installation within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment
  
• IT support Helpdesk systems such as ServiceNow
  
• Strong understanding of lab systems, networked instruments, and validation processes. xcfaprz
  
• Experience managing external vendors and service contracts
  
• LIMS / MES systems such as Zebra, Honeywell, PAS-X, SAP ME an advantage
  
• Understanding of networking principles including IP addressing
  
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
