Role Overview
We are seeking an AI Automation / Integration Engineer to design, develop, and orchestrate advanced AI automation solutions that power the next generation of Voice LLM Agentic agent workflows.
This role requires a strong background in LLMs, NLMs, and AI orchestration frameworks, as well as hands-on experience with API architecture, cloud platforms, and programming languages. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Contact Center (CCaaS) environments and will be instrumental in shaping scalable, AI-driven agentic solutions that directly impact Datavant’s customer and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Agentic AI-driven automation workflows leveraging LLMs, NLMs, TTS, and STT platforms
- Build, integrate, and optimize API-driven architectures across multiple platforms and data sources
- Collaborate with fellow teammates, Telecom/UCC engineers, product managers, and data scientists to design agentic workflows for CCaaS and IVA platforms
- Experiment with and deploy Agentic and Generative AI solutions into enterprise workflows
- Ensure AI automation systems are secure, scalable, and compliant with privacy and regulatory standards (HIPAA, HITECH)
- Design robust reporting mechanisms to ensure all efforts are measurable
- Track and report progress on project deliverables, risks, or roadblocks as needed
- Ensure all assigned project deliverables are completed on time
Candidate Experience
- Previous experience in AI engineering, automation, platforms (eg Cognigy, Kore AI, Poly AI or similiar)
- Experience with AI prompt engineering
- Strong experience with LLMs, NLP
- NLU, TTS, and STT engines
- Proven expertise in API architecture and API development
- Familiarity with data warehouse, data analytics, and data transportation/transformation platforms (e.g. Power BI, Fivetran, MuleSoft)
- Strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills
- Previous exposure to CCaaS Platforms (Five9, Genesys, NICE, etc.)
Desirable skills/Bonus skills:
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms
- AWS certification
- Previous experience implementing AI automation in CCaaS environments
- Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and CrewAI)
- Python or another modern programming language (e.g., Node.js, Java, Go)
