Access Talent Group is working with a leading engineering consulting firm that is seeking a Principal Project Manager to join its Highways and Active Travel team in the Cork, Dublin, or Carlow office.

This role involves aiding the expansion of the Highways and Active Travel business and collaborating closely with professionals. It offers exposure to diverse areas within the Highways and Active Travel sector, including project management, environmental assessment, and preliminary design for active travel projects.

Our client is one of the prominent Irish consulting firms, with expertise in Civil Infrastructure, Waste & Resource Management, and Renewables. They offer design and contract management services for various infrastructure projects and specialize in roads, bridges, rail systems, waste facilities, renewable energy, drainage, water and wastewater treatment facilities, airports, tunnels, and gas pipelines.

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
  
• Demonstrated experience in civil design of active travel projects.
  
• A working knowledge of Public Works Contracts will benefit your application
  
• Interest in working towards Chartered Engineer status. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  
• Delivery of highway or greenway projects in accordance with TII Project Management Guidelines Phases 0 to 4
